Our founders — two engineers and a family counsellor — believed matchmaking deserved more rigor than that, especially given how much rests on it.

So we built vivahwala.com around three commitments that still guide every feature we ship: verify before you connect, be transparent about how compatibility is calculated, and never let technology replace the conversations only two people — and their families — can have. Over twelve years, that discipline has earned us the trust of over 25,000 verified members and, more importantly, thousands of marriages that started as a simple introduction on our platform.

We are still a relatively small team by design. Every feature — from our compatibility scoring to our in-app safety reporting — is built by people who treat this as more than a product decision. It is, for many of our members, one of the most consequential decisions of their lives, and we try to earn that responsibility every day.
